SPAWP is leading a multi-year effort to reduce wildfire risk across 556 high-priority acres in the Cuchara Valley and Navajo Ranch neighborhoods. With $679,000 in support from the Colorado State Forest Service, this project builds on years of local and federal mitigation work to strengthen fire protection at a landscape scale.

The Forest Restoration & Wildfire Risk Mitigation (FRWRM) Grant Program is a competitive, cost-share grant administered by the Colorado State Forest Service.
