Get Involved

Every Hand Makes a Difference

Our volunteers are the backbone of everything SPAWP does β€” from slash pile days to community workshops, from distributing materials to helping neighbors prepare their properties. No experience needed. Just a willingness to help.

Give Your Time

What Volunteers Do

Whether you have a few hours or a few days, there’s meaningful work waiting for you. Volunteers help with everything from physical mitigation work to behind-the-scenes support that keeps our programs running.

Time Commitment

Totally flexible. Some volunteers help at a single event each year. Others pitch in monthly. You decide what works for your schedule β€” there's no minimum requirement.

No experience needed

You don't need firefighting training or technical skills. If you can swing a rake, carry a box, or smile at a neighbor, you're qualified.

Your Impact

Why Volunteer Hours Matter

Every hour you give doesn’t just help our community β€” it helps SPAWP secure grant funding. Many grants require volunteer hour matching, which means your time directly multiplies our impact.
