- SITUATION: Our instructor has had an emergency and cannot teach our Chain Saw class. However, for those interested, we will still have a Meet and Greet and to learn more about Mitigation Practices, the Baker Creek Firewise Community and the regional Neighborhood Ambassador Program
- Where: Cuchara Mountain Park – Day Lodge (overflow parking is at the Cuchara Mountain Mercantile)
- Neighborhood Ambassador Hosts: Gerry Palomino (Baker Creek Firewise lead), Aaron Ritchie and Dawn Lervik

Bring your chainsaw and Protective gear; you will have the opportunity to cut down a tree in our designated area!
- Learn how and why to adapt your property’s trees and vegetation to reduce the risk of wildfire before it happens
- Participate in the afternoon community mitigation day that counts toward our Firewise Status, while learning more about what is FirewiseR
- Meet and Connect with our Panadero Loop neighbors on this important topic that impacts us all.
