Mark your Calendars! Please join us in a Wildfire Preparedness Event, co-hosted by several Neighborhood Ambassadors in our Baker Creek Firewise community!

  • Potluck Lunch

• Where: Starting at a home in Majors Ranch – contact Paul for the address
• Instructor:  David Steffan, Sawyer Certified Mitigation Expert
• Dress code: long sleeves, jeans (no shorts), closed-toe shoes
• Chain saw PPE (bring what you have):  hard hats, leather gloves, goggles, hearing protection, leather leg chaps
• Neighborhood Ambassador Hosts: Paul S. and Bruce B.

Participation Benefits include

• Take home a new skill!  Learn how to safely use and maintain the Tools involved with Mitigating your Property.
• Bring your chainsaw and Protective gear; you will have the opportunity to cut down a tree in our designated area!
• Learn how and why to adapt your property’s trees and vegetation to reduce the risk of wildfire before it happens
• Participate in the afternoon community mitigation day that counts toward our Firewise Status, while learning more about what is Firewise^R
• Meet and Connect with our Panadero Loop neighbors on this important topic that impacts us all.
